Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Abu Bakar Bin Abdillah Alkatib was not able to celebrate Children's Day with his son this year. The reason? He was leading his soldiers for the Army Training Evaluation Centre (ATEC) evaluation.

But LTC Abu Bakar, Commanding Officer of 5th battalion, Singapore Infantry Regiment (5 SIR), made it up by bringing Adam to his unit to tackle the Standard Obstacle Course. Catch the action here:

Check out Adam’s fun day out as he joins his dad for 'training'!

Me holding the Singapore Assault Rifle (SAR) 21 rifle for the first time. This is the weapon that Abah uses.
Abah helping me to put on the camo cream.
Trying out the stepping stones station of the Standard Obstacle Course. I can see why some people call it the soldiers' playground!

Crawling through the tunnel station.
Uncle Beng from PIONEER guiding me to film Abah as he tackles the SOC. Watch the video to catch us in action!
