CLEARING THE TOUGHEST SOC STATIONS

It's known as the Soldier's Playground but it ain't child's play. We get the low-down with the Centre of Excellence for Soldier Performance (CESP) to find out how it's done.

The Standard Obstacle Course (SOC) builds up a soldier's strength, agility and endurance for basic combat movements and tasks.

Watch CESP Combat Fitness Trainer Master Sergeant (MSG) Aqmal Bin Abiden breeze through all 12 stations of the SOC smoothly and safely.

MSG Ching Hua Chiat, a Project Specialist from CESP's Soldier Fitness Centre, and MSG Aqmal give tips on clearing the three most dreaded SOC stations – the Low Wall, Low Rope and Apex Ladder.
