About 640 Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) warrant officers, specialists and airmen (WOSA) attended the first Chief Warrant Officer Air Force (CWAF) Air Time on 13 Mar.

This half-day seminar, held at the School of Infantry Specialists in Pasir Laba Camp, allowed them to discuss issues and share ideas concerning their professional and personal development.

Dubbed Project Cardinal, this staff development initiative was introduced almost a year ago, in line with the RSAF's restructuring plan.

According to CWAF Senior Warrant Officer (SWO) Andrew Koh, "more needs to be done for the WOSA to understand and take ownership of their new roles and responsibilities in the 3rd Generation RSAF".

"We must groom and nurture our people in the three Cs: Competencies, Core Values and Commitment," said SWO Koh.

"Not only must we be competent in military skills, we must also be well-rounded individuals anchored on core values, distinguishing ourselves as military professionals."
