CDF RECEIVES INDONESIAN AWARD

Chief of Defence Force, Lieutenant-General (LG) Ng Yat Chung, was conferred the Bintang Yudha Dharma Utama (Grand Meritorious Military Order), Indonesia's highest military award by the Co-ordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Admiral (Retired) Widodo Adisutjipto, on 23 Sep.
The presentation of the award reflects the warm defence ties between both countries.
The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and Indonesian National Defence Force (TNI) share a longstanding defence relationship that spans a broad spectrum of exercises and professional interaction.
